IXGLEWOOD. (From Our Own Correspondents). The. ordinary monthly meeting of the Moa Dairy Company was held on Monday. There were present: .Messrs Jones (chairman), Brittain. Butler, Egarr, MeMsihon, Staelmrski and Williams. Mr. Staehurski reported that he had assisted the Ratapiko creamery manager to effect repairs' to the creamery, and that the creamery was now ready to open. Mr. Jones reported having attended a meetnig of the National Dairy Association and the animal meeting of*the Taranaki Dairy and Canning Industrial Union of Employers, both held at Stratford on •luly 18; having attended a meeting of the Kaimata branch of the Farmers' I. nion re freezing works, and that a resolution had been passed approving the scheme of the Taranaki farmers erecting works of their own. He also reported having attended the annual meeting of the Egmont Box Co., Ltd., and gave a report of the proceedings. Mr. Brittain reported that the tongue of land at Waiongona was being fenced to accommodate pigs, to clear "the blackberry and fern. Messrs Jones and Brittain were appointed to wait on the Lorough Council re electric power for the factory. Mr. Jones was appointed delegate to attend the annual meeting of the Taranaki Producers' Freezing Works Co., Ltd., on August 31. The secretary was instructed to write to the National Dairy Association asking for prices of manures by direct shipment to New Plymouth, and that he post up at each of the creameries notices setting forth particulars. / Transfers as appliedfor were approved. ft was decided that each supplier of home-separated cream be required to take tip one share for every two lbs of butter-fat supplied ' by him, to be calculated on the highest daily supply for the season. It was decided to purchase thirty tons of Blackball coal for the factory, and the arranging for the supply of Mokau coal was left in the hands of the manager and secretary Accounts amounting to £BOS 8s 3d including £450 8s KM for 'butter-fat 'and £143 4s 2d for wages, were passed for payment.

EGMOXT VILLAGE. The euchre party held last Tuesday evening was pooily attended. Owin* to the small attendance only the first prizes were given. For the ladies Miss Nisbet. proved the winner, whilst for the gentlemen Mr. A. Yeates was successful.
