MR. T. G. MCCARTHY'S WILL. . liy Telegraph.—Press Association. i Wellington, Thursday. The late Mr. McCarthy leaves the following 'bequests:—Mrs. Charlotte Noad London (niece), £5000; Annie Tottman (her sister), £r,000; Edith (daughter of Samuel Gilmer), £1000; Geraldine and Kathleen Henry (daughters of the late Dr. Henry), £IOOO each; Mother Mary Aubert, £1000; for the charitable institutions of Geelong, £IOOO- to his wife, an annuity of £1200; to'his auter-in-law, £300; to his mother-in-aw. £1300; to his carter, £l3O, and to his widow afterwards; to his wife all furniture, effects, jewellery, etc., and two houses in Boulcott street, the' proceeds from which are continued to her husband and children if' his widow remarries. The residue of the estate is entrusted to the Public Trustee, who is to pay one-half the annual income to Mrs, McCarthy, and after her to her husband and children. The other hall i= to be applied to educational and chari'taute purposes in the province of Wolnigto,,.. The Public Trustee is to pav the income to a board of trustees, who will have the distribution thereof The testator declare,! by his will that he 1 ope, to execute a further will giving Jfculs asi,, fhese charitable bequests*: but if i.o failed to do so the board is to have absolute discretion. The Public Jrmtec is given wide powers for the management of the property.
