At the inquest on Jo.mson and Morgan the jury returned, a verdict that Johnson shot Morgan jind then committed suicide. Mrs. Johnson gave evidence that she left her husband because he gambled and illtreated her. He frequently threatened to kill Johnson. He left two pitiful notes, making charges against her and the man, and threatening revenge. He added: "I want to get the lot of us together, and then I won't he responsible for my deed." He asked that the furniture should be sold to support his child.
