"SWOT THAT FLY."

A USEFUL MOVE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christuhurch, Last Night. The Boys' Gordon Hall authorities in Christchnrch are taking steps to initiate a "swot that ily" campaign, the work to be undertaken by lads connected with the Boys' Gordon Hall. The principal features of the campaign are a house-to-house distribution of literature on fne subject of the disease-communicating activities of the house fly. The distributors of the literature are to note premises where flies exist in large numbers. This information is to be handed to the inspectors under the Public Health Act, whose, duties will be thereby considerably reduced. The scheme has been submitted to the sanitary committee of the City Council, and the public health committee of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, and the other local uodics surrounding the city are also to be communicated with and their assistance enlisted. A representative committee to give effect to the proposals of the Boys' Gordon Hall authorities will bo set up shortly.
