DEATH FROM SCALDING. By Telegraph—Press Assomtion. Dunedin, Last Night. The district coroner (Mr. Graham) conducted an enquiry this morning inln the circumstances surrounding the death of the two-year-old son of Mr. A. Creighton, Kaikorai Yallev, who fell into a tul) of hot water and soda on Monday, and died yesterday morning. The coroner returned a verdict that death was due to scalding, with 110 blame attachable to anyone. The doctor said ihat he was satisfied that everything possible had been done to save tlu; child. DEATH FROM HEART DISEASE. Christehnreh. Last Night. IT. Lindwall, a fishmonger, living at Belfast, died suddenly at Southbridge last night. Tie left for Sonthbridge in tile morning, accompanied by a friend named Christiansen, and apparently was quite well then. It is supposed that death was due to heart disease, although it was not known that he suf- ; fered from the trouble. He was forty | '-ears of ace, and leaves a widow but: no children.
