SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Department published the following summary and foreoast at 5 p.m.:—-Summary.—Cool and changeable weather has been experienced generally, with scattered showers. Northerly to south-westerly breezes have prevailed, with a rising barometer. Forecast.—Present indications are for fair to cloudy weather generally, but squally and showery about Foveaux Strait. Moderate to strong easterly winds are probable northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and westerly to south-westerly winds elsewhere, but strong in Foveaux Strait. Little movement of the barometer is indicated at present. t n?:^
