SUMMARY AND FORECAST. ' By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Department published the fallowing summary and forecast at o p.m.:—Summary.—An area of low pressure has passed southward of New Zealand, and showery weather has been experienced in the northern and southernmost districts and on the East Coast, but fair to cloudy weather has been experienced generally. The winds have been variable. Forecast.—Present indications are for cool and changeable weather, with passing showers in many parts of the country. The barometer ■will probably fall everywhere temporarily, but is due to rise again shortly. The winds will probably change from north and west to west and south, And ipvove moderate to strong in force.
