THE LIBERAL PROGRAMME. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 18, 5.5 p.m. Ottawa, August 17. . The Free Press, in an apparently inspired article, announces that Sir Wir l frid Laurier is ready to assist the Government to develop a suitable naval policy only if the Government adopts the policy already settled by the Liberals.
