The Miners' Federation Conference re•olved to express its strong dissatisfaction with the Workers' Minimum Wa'ge Act. particularly because, with few exceptions, the awards do not give all underground workmen ss. Someawards require 100 per cent, of attendances to qualify for the minimum. Many owners are seriously delaying payment of arrears under awards.
