The annual report of the Eallance Daiiy Co., issued to-day, shows that the quantity of milk supplied during the 1911-12 season was 20,301,8431U5.. yielding 992,108)1*;. of butter-fat, ' Home separated cream, producing 11,2071b5. of butter-fat, was also received, making a total of ],003,1931b5. of butter-fat for the season. During the 1910-11 season 29,158.0C21b5. of milk, yielding 1,100,553 lbs. of butter-fat, were delivered to the various butter factories and creameries. Although the quantity of milk supplied during the 1910-11 season was nearly 3,000,0001b5. greater than last year's supply, the higher prices ruling for butter were responsible for the value of last season's output being £59,250 4s 3d as compared with £55.115 0s 3d for the previous season, an increase of £4144 4s. The directors state that the monetary return is a record for the company. Some fifty tons were sold to Vancouver at a satisfactory price. Advances have been made at Is per lb. for butter-fat throughout the year, with an additional penny in August. The directors propose from the surplus to pay shareholders a further halfpenny per lb. on butter-fat supplied, a live per cent, dividend on capital, and to write the balance off for depreciation.
