A GIG ACCIDENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. After attending the induction of the Rev. J. Craig to the Presbyterian Church at Fahlie on Thursday evening, and while visiting ministers were driving home, a serious accident betel two of them. The Rev. P. Wilson, of Albury, and the Rev. C. Mac Donald, of Temuka, were in a gig going at a good pace, when the horse shied and upset the vehicle down an embankment near the approach to a small bridge. The gig was smashed and the two ministers were considerably hurt. The next party, including two other ministers, picked them up and drove back to Fairlie for medical attention. The Rev. Mr. Wilson was seriously hurt about the head and remained at Fairlie. The Rev. Mr. Mac Donald sustained cuts and bruises on his face and legs and shock, but was able to return home to-day. A MINER KILLED. Grcymouth, I>ast Night. A man named Hell, a trucker at, the State mine, aged 28, was killed this afternoon by a truck breaking away. SUICIDE BY SHOOTING. Gisborne, Friday. Allen Campbell, aged «i, shot himself at his cousin's place at Mangatu iast night. There are no further particulars.
