The Admiralty, requiring before the end of March an additional ten thousand men, invites seamen and stokers becoming entitled to pensions to re-engage for a further quinquennium, receiving the usual pay besides pensions. It also invites special service seamen and stokers completing their quinquennium afloat to re-engage, for three years, with a corresponding reduction of their seven years' service in the reserve.
