The Magistrate's -eport on the recent strike disturbances at Rotherhithe justifies the action of the police in grappling ■with the riot, but finds that at the dispersal of the crowd* in side streets some of the police were guilty of excesses. At a conference of the Miners' Federation at Blackpool, it was declared that generally speaking the administration of the Minimum Wage Act was most unsatisfactory. EBBW VALE WORKERS RESUME. The workers at Ebbw Vale have resumed, after giving the required undertaking.
