Gray, pastor of the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church at; I nristchurch. has received an urgent call to the Hanover Street Church, in. Dunedin. Tiro Eev. D. D. Scott, of Onehnnga. lias declined the call of the Gore Presbvterian Church, the emoluments of which are £SO more than his present stipend. Great satisfaction has been expressed in Oiiehunga at his decision. At the annual congregational mectingof St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church held at Stratford on Thursday evening it was unanimously and heartily decided' to extend a call to the Rev. Jameg Clarke, of Palmerston South'. Mr. James Sinclair, eldest son of Mr. P.. Sinclair, of Vogeltown, is returningfrom England. Mr. Sinclair, who has been studying for the medical profession, and was seriously injured in a football match, is due 'at Wellington on Wednesday.
