I PROGRESSIVE TE AWAMUTU. By Telegraph—Press Association. Te Awamutu, Thursday. The ratepayers have authorised a loan of ,€25,000 for municipal works, including water supply £IB,OOO, roads £2OOO, gasworks £BOOO. Of this, £20",000 lias already been obtained. WEST COAST TIMBER TRADE. Greymouth, Thursday. Felix Campbell, a merchant at Grey, mouth, has taken over the whole export timber trade of the Associated Mills on the West Coast. Mr. G. H. Boyd, formerly manager of the Bank of New Zealand, 'has been appointed manager.
