CARDS. AVENUE ROAD WINS THE "MALONE EUCHRE SHIELD." On Tuesday night in the Burlington Tea Rooms, the Avenue Road and St. Aubyn eut'hrc representatives met to play o(V for the "Miilone Euchre Shield." After a very exciting and inlcrestinjj match, Avenue Road proved too good, winning by four games. This is the second time Avenue Road has won the Euchre Shield out of the four years it h;is been played for. On the other two occasions thev lost the shield by one point. The following are the scores, Avenue Road being mentioned first: A. Richards and 11. Hampton S v. E. Francis and P. Newell G; Leo. Richards and W. Hooper 7 v. S. Russell and E. Humphries 5; T. Richards and C. Jordan 0 v. H. Evn 3wl .T. F. Hooker 4: ,T. Rlewmiui and T.. Prentice 4 v. J. Woods and A. Kivell G; totals, Avenue Road 25, St. Aubyn 21.
