MOUNT McKINLEY.

COOK BOWLED OUT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. New York, August 13. Mori Lavoy, the guide of the Parker Brown expedition, who sought to scale Mount McKinley, has returned to ancouver, bringing proofs that Dr. Cook never reached the summit. Dr. Cook bad a photograph which he alleged to be one of the summit, but an exact duplicate of Dr. Cook's photograph was taken by Parker Brown. The expedition narrowly escaped death from a terrific earthquake. The expedition was not hopeful of reaching the summit, because terrific storms were frequently raging.
