The Taviuni arrived in port last evening, .'but discharging >• operations were postponed till 5 o'clock this morning. Aft'er discharging her cargo, which amounts to 700 tons, she sails for Westport and Greymouth.

L THE HAUfIRI. ' The Haupiri is due this morning from Limestone Island, ria ports. Besides her cargo of .cement she is bringing about 400 cases of kerosene from Wellington. She sails for Wellington and East Coast ports after discharging. The Haupiri takes all cargo offering for southern ports, with the exception of Picton and Nelson, which will be lifted by the Rosamond to-morrow.

THE ROSAMOND.

The Rosamond leaves Nelson at noon to-day for New Ply-mouth, and is due to-morrow with about 20 tons of general cargo. She sails the same day for Onchunga, Wellington, Picton and Nelson. "Manaia" ia the name chosen by the Northern Company for the Rotoiti, for : morly owned by the Union Company. The Manaia,' which is being thoroughly overhauled at Wellington, is to leave for Auckland shortly to enter the AucklawdWhangaroi trade.
