When he had moved the motion he was smarting under a sense of grave injustice, but subsequently found that he was laboring under a mistaken view. ■>
INSULTING TliE SPEAKER. GASLIGHT COMPANIES' PETITIONS. Received 15. 12.10 a.m. Sydney, August 14. In the Assembly Mr. Fitzpatriek was ejected for charging the Speaker with faking Hansard. Petitions have been presented by the gaslight companies, asking that provision be made for a Bill protecting their properties, rights and interests.
