Adults are learning the piano now without the drudgery of scales and difficulties of notation. Mt. R. G. Marsh, of Inglewood, is the representative of the "New Method," and proficiency is guaranteed in eight lessons. Ninety-eight per cent, of the world's dairymen use this machine, and Griffiths and Co. are agents for the Taranaki district.

That which receives the appreciation of all people is "how to save money." Every one has friends to whom they must make presents, and the jeweller's shop is of greatest consequence in this respett, especially when goods are being retailed at half ordinary value. Country residents will do well to write for some of the bargains in baby linen clearing at White and Sons. Many lines in robes, slips, gowns, flannels, etc., are reduced by half. Money returned in full if not pleased. Mention price wanted when ordering. We have a big range to choose from.
