THE CANADIAN CADETS.
A MISUNDERSTANDING. By CaWe—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, August 12. Captain Davy describes the reception of the Vancouver High School Cadets here as a real freezer. "We feel we have been slighted," he says. "Canada won't understand this treatment. We treated the Australian boys who visited us very differently. The cadets are particularly sore over not being granted free railway passes, which would have afforded them facilities to learn the resources of the Commonwealth."
Mr. McGowen says he was unaware that the visitors were other than a private body of travelling cadets. If enquiries show that they are under the aegis of the Canadian Government, further concessions will be accorded.
