MILITARY TRAINING OF LADS.
To the Editor . I Sir, —Will you allow me through the J medium of your paper to make a few re-1 marks on the manner in which the above I is being carried out. In the first place, j let me say that I do not object to the training; but I do object, and no doubt many others do, to our sons being called away ./to make a journey of several miles to attend drill and find on arriving at their destination that the instructor has neglected to keep his appointment. This lias occurred several times. To attend a drill takes at least half e day, and when a boy has ridden over it is most unsatisfactory to find he has had a ■ journey in vain. Time is money, and fanners cannot afford 'to waste it.—l am, etc., DISGUSTED.
