FIRES.
INVERCARGILL ENGINESIIEDS BURNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. A serious outbreak of fire occurred this morning, when the recently erected railway enginesheds in Tweed street were partially destroyed. The fire was discovered about 8.30 a.m., and it then had a strong hold. It is stated to have originated in one of the cleaner's lock(OTs, and spread rapidly along and up the walls to the roof. About half of tthe roof of tire structure was destroyed and the walls were damaged.
