THE LAND AGENTS' BILL. By Telegraph—Press Association. I Timaru, Last Might. A private -meeting of land agents to,day discussed Mr. Witty's Bill. They approved of the Bill generally, but will send up some suggestions for amendments in committee. .FISHING IN THE SOUTH. Timaru, Last Night. At a meeting of the Acclimatisation Society it was decided to spend £SO on the purchase of brown trout, and to Mkerate them in the rivers. Its is asserted that the fishingi is nothing like as good as it used to be, and this year it is stated that the floods would have carried most of the spawn out to sea.
