THE PALMERSTON MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. The Palmerston North Coursing Club began its meeting to-day in fine weather. The first heats in the North Island Challenge Stake, North Island Challenge Plate, and North Island Challenge Purse were run. The favorite, Master Wairiki, owned by Morton and Fletcher, was knocked out in the second round of the Stakes by Cottcii.ll and Sorensou's Ringmaster.
