For attempting to set fire to a Dublin theatre, Mary and Gladys Evans have been each sentenced to five years' imprisonment, and Lizzie Baker to seven months'. The charge against Mary Leigh of throwing a hatchet at Mr. Asquith was postponed. A HYSTERICAL WOMAN. RATHER A CONVICT TIMN VOTELESS. Received 8, 10.30 p.m. London, August 8. Leigh, on hearing her sentence, cried out "It is frightful! If I live to come out of gaol I will commit further crimes. Better be a convict than voteless!" [Leigh's sentence has not been cabled.]
