Prices are lower by about par to 5 per cent, for crossibred scoured. Frozen meat—The market is steadier for beef, shows increased firmness for mutton, but is weaker for lamb. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London office under date August I: Frozen meat-—(Mutton: Market firmer. Any change in prices is in favor of sellers. Prime crossbred Canterbury mutton 3%d to 4y s d. Lamb: Market weaker. Any change in prices is in favor of buyers. Beef: Market neglected.
