Battler's son-in-law committed suicide, his daughter went mad, and Sattler jumped from the roof and broke his neck. A \ounger brother, named Edward, quarrelled with his elder brother. Rudolph, ever an inheritance, and employed a Roumanian lad to help to murder Rudolph i'.iid his mother. The latter was not killed, but went mad. Edward has been arrested.
