The following are the events comprised in the programme for the New Zealand championship meeting to be 'held at Trentham from. September 10 to 21:— Amateur Championship of New Zealand, thirty-itwo players to qualify over 36 .holes, Open Championship of New Zealand, open to ifrofessionals and amateurs, four rounds medal play; Professional Match of 18 holes, match play; Bogey Handicap, 18 holes; Four-ball Foursome Bogey Mutcli, IS holes; and Medal Handicap, 18 holes. There will also /be an inter-club match for the E. D. O'Rorke Challenge Vase. The aggregate score of each team will (be taken in the second qualifying round for the amateur cham-pion-ship. Entries are due on September ■■7. For the first two events entries will be limited to 7i in each event.
