THE TRIANGULAR CONTESTS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, August 5. The secretary of the Board of Control explains that prior to the meeting of the Imperial Cricket Conference on July 10 a cablegram was despatched to Mr. Crouch, manager of the Australian team, intimating that the Board did ncft favor the continuation of the triangular matches, but requesting him to arrange the usual visits between England and Australia, also to arrange with the Africans for future visits. Some press reports indicated that the Board had just decided that it did not favor the continuance of the Imperial scheme; hence the confusion and the comment in (Sporting Life.
