J3UBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it that behalf by "The Rating Act, 1908," and the amendments thereto, and in particular by sections 117 and 118 of "The Counties Act, 1908," it is the intention of the Council of the County of Egmont. at tiie ordinary monthly meeting, to be held at the County office, Opunake, on FRIDAY, the 9th day of August. 1912, to make and levy the following General Rate# on the Capital Value of all rateable property within the respective Ridings of the County for the period of twelve months, from the Ist day of April, 1912, to the 31st day of March, 1913, viz.:—
