1 SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington. Last Night. The Meteorological Department published the following summary and forecast at 5 p.m.: -Summary.—Stormy weather was experienced on Saturday, but a temporary improvement took place on Sunday. The lu remoter rose half an inch during Saturday night, hut has fallen again to-day, and cloudy weather prevails. Forecast.—Present indications are for cloudv and unsettled weather, with rain in most parts and snow on the higher levels. Increasing northerly ana winds are probable, "with a falling barometer everywhere.
