Saturday's meeting between the two colored boxers, Longford aaid MeVea, was tile fourth time that they have opposed) eaoh other in the ring. The first contest went twenty round® dn Paris in April, 1911, and was declared a draw. Previous to Saturday's fight each, boxer ha® scored onee over his <opponent in Australia. The latest fight roused immense interest in Australia, and was chosen for the re-opening of Mr. H. Mcintosh's stadium, now roofed and made into a permanent and up-to-date structure.
