The following hockey team has been chosen to represent Wellington against Tnjranaki next Saturday:— Goal, full-backs, Baker and McJldowney; halves, Parton, Campbell (captain) and [Thompson; forwards, Reed, C. Strack, G. Dacifis and Loader; reserves, Akken 'and Boyd.
WELLINGTON v. WAIRARAPA.
The following are chosen to represent Wellington in the hockey match, Wellington v. Wairarapa next Saturday:— iTinney (Greggs)', T. Spiers (Karori), K. ! Spiers (Karori), Ilaigh (Wellington), Martin (K.Y.M.1., Smith (United), Hogg (Victoria College), Brooker (Karori), L. Webley (St. Augustine's). Cleghorn {(Victoria College).. MeDougall (Wellington). Reserves: Back, Gurr; forward, ' Mur.rell.
LADIES' REPRESENTATIVE MATCH.
Playing at Hawefil on Saturday afternoon, the Wanganui ladies' hockey team defeated the Ta.ranaki eleven by three goala to two. The match was more in the nature of a mud-fight than an exposition of hockey, and Tairanaki had 'hard 'luck in not equalising. If anything, | they had slightly the better of the game. Miss Roberts shot both goals for [ the los'ems. Miss Bison was referee.
