Kid McCoy, the bo.ver, wag charged •11 extradition with stealing £12,000 worth of jewels, the property of Princess Thuantinaxis, at the Palace Hotel, Ostend. Thieves took a room adjoining the Princess's suite of twenty-four rooms and entered her bedroom while the Princess was in the bathroom. They overlooked other jewellery worth £IBO.OOO, including an .tSO.OOO necklace. Three atWrs were arrested in Belgium. McCoy ha« been admitted to bail for '£3ooo. Counsel stated that he was staying at the Hotel ('ceil, and the charge rested on the unsupported allegation of the su-pected woman.
