The secretary of the Board of Control has cabled to "the manager of the Australian team that the Board is of opinion that the triangular test matches should be discontinued after the present series, on the grounds that it is impracticable to successfully continue them in Australia and South Africa, and the matches played to date have been unsuccessful. A cable has been received that the proposed visit of the Australian team to I America has been abandoned
