Wellington, Last Night, Mr. Okey to-day gave notice to ask whether the Minister of Public Works will adopt the finding of the commission sot up by the late Government to inquire into the most suitable route for a branch railway in the Op'iwake district, and seeing the importance of this line bo the inhabitants of the district will he take the necessary steps to have the line authorised, and have ft sufficient sum placed upon the Estimates to surrey the route.
