'WAITARA ROAD. (From Own Correspondent.) A very successful salt' of work, Christmas tree. and concert was held in the Nuircviigi Halj on Tlmredny last, in aid of St. ,folia's Church vicarage funds. The ladies of the district had been most energetic in getting together a good collection of various ;irticles for some time past, and the results of their effort must he considered very gratifying, the net proceeds amounting to £22 d«.
