Some of the dockers n -ented being reacquired to give an undertaking not to demand the production of union tickets from other workmen. There have been disorders at the Royal Albert and Victoria dock 9, where the strikers, after being re-engaged, chased the free laborers. Many received black eves.

THE STRIKE COMMITTEE. WORK RESUMING. London. July 30. The Strike Committee sat foi three hours, reaffirmed Saturday's decision, and ordered the resumption of work under the old conditions. The quays and wharves are in a deplorable condition. Tons of merchandise have been spoilt, largely by the weather, and bales of wool damaged.

The .Strike Committee will award medals to those faithful in the struggle. Tlip Government has instructed Mr. Askwith to proceed to Canada to enquire into the working of the Industrial Disputes Act.
