A railway company in the South of England had been experimenting with this fuel. The refinery plant for the New Plymouth fields was due to leave London on July 14 last. The plagt will cover no less than four acres, and will have a capacity of 10,000 gallons per day. The preliminary work will be commenced almost immediately, and will mean a big thing for New Plymouth, even in the matter of labor. Tlie buildings are to be erected in brick or concrete. If the labor for the whole of the construction work is available the plant should be in running order in a year's time. Mr. Millar declares that an analysis of the oil shows it to be one of the finest in the warld.
