Tuesday.—Sailed, at 0.45 a.m., Nairnshire, for Avonmouth, via Las Palnias. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa. with 87 tons of cargo arrived from Onehunga yesterday morning. Included in the cargo were 4 torn manure, 10 tons cement, 4 tons sugar, C | tons Hour and 350 eases fruit. One horse ! was also brought. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond arrived yesterday morn ing from Wellington and Onehunga witli 45 tons of 'basic slag. After discharging she loaded 700 boxes of butter and a quantity of general cargo, sailing in the I evening for Wellington.
THB FLORA. " Flora is expected here to-day from southern ports with general cargo. After discharging, the vessel will proceed to Westport and Greymouth. WAITARA ITEMS. The Tainui, which arrived at AVaitara from Wellington on Saturday, experienced a rough time on her journey south. When off Sinclair Head on Thursday night the vessel met with an exceptionally severe handling. Her port bulwarks were, stove in, and she was compelled to seek shelter at Picton. The Kaikoura left the roadstead: on Saturday morning for Bluff, having loaded the following cargo for Home markets:—Tor London: 1502 quarters beef, 3494 carcases mutton, 92 carcases lamb, 584 casks sundries, 21 bales wool, 43 cassk tallow, 4 bales hair, 3 casks pelts, 3 casks oleo, 4 casks peltings, 107 sacks horns, 1 case nddlestrings. In addition, the vessel took 7GO quarters beef and 1108 carcases mutton for Gibraltar. The Whakatane is the next liner to load in the roadstead, and is due at an early date. -
