SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Department published the following summary and fore«ast at 5 p.m. to-day:—Summary.— showery weather is still reported on the eastern coast of both islands. Moderate to strong and cold southerly winds have prevailed with a steadily rising barometer. Forecast. —Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds, squally at times on the east coast and in Cook Strait. The barometer will probably continue to rise steadily everywhere, with cool and changeable weather and clearing showers on the east coast.
