At the inquest on McCarthy, who was shot by his late employer, jliorby. evidence was given by George Albert Thorh.V, aged twenty,, that lie was visiting his brother, who employed McCarthy. The quarrel was originally caused through Thorby's resentment at McCarthys friendliness with his sister. Thorby w as committed for trial on 'a charge of murder.
