The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is quarters; for the Continent 1,705,000 quarters; Atlantic shipments 168,000 quarters. The total shipments for Europe are 1,175,000 quarters, including Argentine 290,000 quarters, Russian 225,000 quarters, Danubian 89,000 quarters, Indian 32(>,000 quarters, Australasian 30,000 quarters. "Weddell's annual review of the produce trade says that the application of pasteurisation in New Zealand has resulted in an all-round improvement, particularly in texture and keeping properties, and the 11avor of cowiness has been largely reduced and iishiv.ess is practically absent. New Zealand should erect dual plants, in view of the possibility of Canada ceasing to export cheese in the not distant future.
