Vine, R. Rolf, and Simms were out for ', 90. R. Relf was batting for 80 minutes and hit five fours. Then A. Relf and Ranjitsinhji were associated. A. Relf was cleverly caught at mid-off after batting 125 minutes, driving and cutting well and hitting twelve fours. Ranjitsinhji's play waa delightful. He put on 36 in 75 minutes and the partnership added 107. Ohaplin, the next comer, retired without scoring, having been struck in the stomach by Emery, who was bowling erratically. Killick, tis fifth batsman, was out when Ranjitsinhji had made 82. He had made 62 by driving. He was missed when he had mads 46 by Jennings at slip, off Minnett. Chaplin kept up his wicket while Ranjitsinhji did the scoring. He reached hig century in 140 minutes. Fender and Ranjitsinhji added 51 for the seventh wicket. Ranjitsinhji was in 165 minutes and played a masterly innings. He hit 22 fours. Fender and Cox added 65 for the eighth wicket. Fender was in for 65 minutes, driving and square-leg hitting. He hit a six and twelve fours. The last two wicket* only added fivs runs. The 300 was hoisted in 255 minutes, and the innings lasted 325 Minutes. The attendance was 300.
