FATHER AND CHILD.
INFANT CHARGED WITH ASSAULT. By Ttlegraph—Press Assoeiatt«n. Nelson, Last Night. At the Takaka Court yesterday a child aged nine years was charged with assault on the information of the father of the child, who alleged that he had been .assaulted. The magistrate, Mr. Evans, S.M., characterised the laying of such an information as scandalous. It was disgraceful that a mere children's quarrel should be so magnified. The information was withdrawn.
