THE TOHUNGA CASE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. The tohunga Hingawhaka, charged with rape, was to-day committed for, trial for a minor charge of indecent assault. Mr. Cooper appeared for the accused. Counsel applied for a Maori jury, which was granted for the Supreme Court, Bail was allowed accused in £2OO and two sureties of £l5O each. The court sat to-day at Motuiti pa and took the evidence of Emily Heta, /who is dying. ■
