A company is in course of flotation, and Mr. A. A. Lee, engineer, who is negotiating for the required capital of £30,000, has already secured half the amount, although no prospect us has been issued. ( At a public meeting held on the West Coast last week in connection with another venture, Mr. Searle stated that if the prospects were half as good as those obtained by him in the Kanieri district, the results would bo very .-satisfactory.'
