By Telegraph— Press Association. Auckland, Wednesday. A shop and a six-roomed house' at Takapuna, owned bv the estate of E. Haaron and occupied by Simonds, were destroyed by fire at 1 a.m. The family escaped in night attire. The insurance's on the house were £2lO in the South British, and on the furniture £175 in the Victoria Fire Office.
