FERRY STEAMERS COLLIDE.

A HEAVY FOG. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Monday. During a heavy fog in the harbor this morning, the ferry steamers Condor and Kestrel collided when off Calliope Dock. The Kestrel struck the Condor a glancing blow on the port how, carrying awav a portion of the wooden bulwarks, with the rail and some of the iron stanchions. The damage is trifling and concerns only light woodwork. The Condor continued her trips until later in the morning, when she was replaced by the Eagle to allow repairs to be effected.
